about rabbi david fineRabbi David Fine was born in Staten Island, NY in 1968 and grew up in Milltown, NJ. He attended Moriah Yeshiva Academy elementary school (which eventually became RPRY, the Rabbi Pesach Raymond Yeshiva) in Edison, NJ. He graduated in 1986 from the Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School followed by a year of study in Jerusalem at BMT (Beit Midrash LeTorah).

Rabbi Fine graduated Cum Laude with High Honors in Near Eastern and Judaic studies from Brandeis University in 1991. He received his Master's Degree in Jewish History in 1995.

In 1998 David attained his Semicha from Yeshivat HaMivtar - The Joseph and Gwendolyn Straus Rabbinical Seminary in Efrat, Israel. He served as rabbi of the Lake Park Synagogue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1998-2003 and Congregation Beth Israel Abraham and Voliner (BIAV) in Overland Park, Kansas from 2003-2008.

In August, 2008 Rabbi Fine made Aliyah to Modiin where he resides today. In 2010 Rabbi Fine co-founded the Barkai Center for Practical Rabbinics and Community Development based in Modiin where he serves as Dean, together with his colleague Rabbi Shlomo. Rabbi Fine has served on the Executive Committee of the RCA and the Board of NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains).

Rabbi Fine is married to Dr. Julie (Goldstein) Fine, a psychologist, and is the father of Etan, Chanan (Tamar), Amiel and Zachy.
